Okay here are some fun, interesting and informing facts about HYDE. I took these from interviews, research,
and other sites.
=+ His most precious treasure is a drawing he got form Kaneko sensei. They used the drawing for a chocolate
called Queen Alice. He asked for an oil painting of the drawing, so kaneko sensei made one and gave it to him.
=+ HYDE got his Angel Wings tattoo around yr. '97 or '98. Not sure though.
=+ When he was a kid, his mother supposedly made him wear a red back pack to school(typical for girls.).
=+ He has a reall big appetite. Considering the fact that he's so thin, I guess he has a high metabolism.
=+ HYDE's idol is David Sylvian.
=+ HYDE wanted to become an artist when he was younger, but because he is colorblind. He didn;t pursue that
dream.
=+ Tetsu nicknamed him Doi Hachiro. It was to tease him. It roughly means 'top degree of trouble.' I don't
know if it's really true. I just got it from a site. The Doi ha part was said to be Haido backwords. Possibly another
reason why he gave him that nickname.
=+ HYDE is a Harry Potter fan! He supposedly
cried during one of the movies. I don't know which one.
=+ HYDE has an obsession with flicking and sticking out his tongue. Or licking his lips. Either to cover
up his crooked bottom teeth or just to flirt with his fans.
=+ Before he joined L'Arc~en~Ciel he was the guitarist for the band Kiddies Bomb (their name changed to
Jeruselem's Rod just before he left)
=+ Ironically, HYDE's favorite food is curry rice and yet it is also the food he hates most! He likes
it a lot but he tends to hate it when he eats it too many times...(Lol..^_^)
=+ A special dish HYDE recommends would be Sukiyaki.
=+HYDE cleans up his room on his day off.
=+ For his health he changes the humidifier before he goes to sleep. He uses it all year round.
=+ He has a fetish for slopes. He likes twisting and winding roads. He says that it makes things more exciting.

=+ HYDE has his belly button pierced. You can see it in one of his pictures. I'll put it up somewhere.
=+ He doesn't like slimy, scary bugs. Such as earthworms, or Molluscs. They wouldliterally make him jump.
(Note: I would jump too! It's okay Hyde-sama, I'll catch you..xDD!!)
=+ The kind of praise he likes to get the most is to be called 'Clever.'
=+ HYDE only buys clothes if they look 'cool.'
=+ When meeting up with his friends he usually drinks alcohol.
=+ Supposedly HYDE says that if he wasn't a musician he would've been a bartender. (Hmm...takes away
from the artist view ne?)
=+ HYDE's 3 requirements to be an artist is, coffee, a cigarette, and water.
=+ On the most common picture of his wing tattoo (The one that has the Japanese written on it) the words
were written by the tattoo artist and they say:
"Hyde tattooed a pair of wings on his back,
even though Hyde said, 'I prefer the devil.'
Still, he chose the angel in the end.
After many observations,
I realized that angel's wings are really more sutiable for Hyde.
During the photoshoot, as I saw the wings,
on Hyde's pale, never-been-tanned skin,
I felt a fleeting yet imprinted feeling of satisfaction.
From now on, using that pair of wings,
Hyde can fly freely."
